Thanksgiving 2011 at the cabin

We LOVE Thanksgivings at the cabin! We have a fabulous and delicious feast and there is a peaceful and humble feeling there. Maybe it's because we are in the middle of nature. Maybe it's because we only have one oven, no microwave or other conveniences that normally surround us and yet still know that we have more than most. Not quite sure, but  certainly love it!

This year we were with the Miles family, Tim/Nicole Frank family, and Mom and Dad Frank. Great company!!

Nicole, Hannah, and Addie put together a fishing for surprises game and all the kids came away with several toys and treats! It was SO much fun for the kids and kept them entertained for a long time while dads rested or napped and moms went through the large Thanksgiving paper ads! Good times!!!
