Lehi Condo

Ah, our home! Our home of about 6 years! Besides loving our ward, neighbors, and neighborhood, and becoming emotionally attached, and comfortable with those, WE LOVED OUR HOME!!! Time usually brings change though, so here are some pictures of our favorite rooms!

Our bedroom. We loved the shelves above our bed. Chet made them for us and we put sentimental and special things on them. We also put up the ceiling fan and two canned lights that showed off our shelves!

Why would we want to remember our closet? Well, because it used to only have one shelf. As you can see, we added some organization to it! Jake also added an outlet to our closet. This was awesome because I kept our ironing board right inside. Very convenient!!

Not much to this master bath, but I'm thankful we were lucky to have more than one bathroom! Oh yeah, Jake did install a little sprayer to the side of the toilet. Jake called it the "butt squirt-er" but I'm too lady like to say that.

This room is particularly special to all of us! Jake and I (along with our friends, Julie and Steve Bodell) built and painted this loft bed. Boy was it fun! And really, really sturdy (don't think it will ever come out of there). Kids loved playing up there. We all played up there! Thayne LOVED it! And, although Dax never slept up there, he loved climbing up there and playing too!

 Another view...

And another...
:)

The kitchen. We had eight, yes, eight recessed can lights installed by a friend (Brad Robinson - Jake installed a fireplace in his new home and in return he installed our canned lights, in the bedroom too). We also painted. Well, we painted the kitchen, living room, Thayne's room, and hallway shortly after we moved in. This was no small task since we had vaulted ceilings - and since we hate painting and are not very good at it. Don't try to tell us differently, we admit it and know it!

Our living room was by far the favorite! Jake and his friend, Luke look put in the fireplace, mantel, and surround. It was/is awesome! I was pregnant with Daxton when it was being put in and the smell made me sick and nauseous, but it was all worth it! No other condo in the entire complex has a fireplace! It's a one of a kind at Westbury! We took down the old vertical binds, I sewed the curtains you see in the picture. We installed the ceiling fan. We made this living room (as well as most other rooms in the house) ours!

I'm sure no renter will love this home as much as we did! And it will never be like it was when we were there, but I'm thankful for the memories we had there. Emmett and Dax were born while we were living in this condo. Thayne grew from a baby to a young boy. Christmas traditions were started. Love was shared and felt, tears were shed, laughs were heard (stinkers were heard too), and peace and friendship was present. We are a blessed family!
