Farm Fun

(June 2011)

Megan invited us to go to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point with them and Mom Ward. Actually, Megan and Matt took Grace to a Princess Festival and me and mom took the kids to the farm.  We had so much fun!!! All of us first ate lunch on the grass and then headed our separate ways to the fun! The Farm was celebrating Dairy Days and so there were extra games and activities going on.  This made it even more exciting than when we'd gone before!  Ring tossing, knocking over milk bottles, making homemade butter and spreading it on crackers, popsicle booths, and making homemade ice cream in zip lock bags were some of the things we enjoyed!  Plus the pony ride, wagon ride, Tractor Train ride...Kid HEAVEN!!!

One of the coolest activities going on because of Dairy Days was this tracker train! It went pretty dang fast! It was a bumpy ride but the boys LOVED it! Unfortunately after we had taken a couple of rides on it, it broke down and didn't ride for the rest of the day!
